Tenerife Island

I am a singer-songwriter, poet, journalist, freelancer, author, photographer and naturalist born in Cardiff, Wales, where I lived until the end of 2004 when I moved to Tenerife.

I am commonly known as the Bard of Ely because I really am a bard and was given the title by Big Issue magazine in the late 90s when I had a column in the magazine and was living in Ely, a vast council estate in Cardiff.

As a singer-songwriter I have had my music rave-reviewed in the NME and broadcast on Internet and FM radio worldwide as well as having had some of my songs used by TV programmes. I was the compère at Glastonbury Festival Avalon stage in 2002 and 2003 and have also appeared at the festival as a performer on several occasions.

I worked as a TV presenter in 1998 for two series of In Full View magazine.
