I don't live anywhere near Paddy McGinty's and haven't been there for several years so I am afraid I don't know, sorry! I live in the north of the island now.
Selina, sorry I have only just seen this. The yellow flowers are Bermuda Buttercup. There are loads of edible weeds here - and wild spinach/beet, goosefoot, mallow are all common, as is chickweed.
Agnieszka, sorry, I don't know. This island is very behind with Internet communication and many places that have e-mail addresses don't reply anyway.
I wondered if you know the name of the little yellow flowers that are all over Tenerife at the moment after the rain. I would like to know so that I can see if it's safe for my tortoise to eat. Or if you know of any other weeds other than milk thistle and dandilion that grow here that a tortoise could eat. Thanks for your help. Selina.
